Additional Prints: $8 per 4x6, $8 per (4) jumbo wallets, $10 per 5x7, $20 per 8x10 or 8x12, $33 per 10x13 or 10x15, $38 per 11x14, $45 per 12x18, $59 per 16x20, $68 per 20x30, and $119 per 24x36. 

High-Resolution Images: $20 for (1) high-res image via email, $50 for (3) high-res photos, or DVD with all photos from session is the same price as session fee.

Photo Gifts:  $15 for (1) large magnet or (2) small magnets, $25 for mousepad, $9 large photo button, $10 for acrylic keychain, $25 for silver or gold style keychain, $25 for custom coffee mug, $39 for customized tote bag. 

Portrait Albums:  $75 for 20 page leather brag book, $125 for 30 page coffee table style album 8"x11", $195 for leather 8"x12" album. 

Location

Studio is located at 185 Winthrop Street, Winthrop, MA 02152, just 15 minutes from downtown Boston. We have white, black, gray and red backgrounds in the studio, along with several amazing fabric backdrops.  Winthrop is also home to several beaches and yacht clubs, as well as several grassy parks and ponds. There are also several great photo locations nearby, featuring impressive Boston skylines, rocky beaches, sandy beaches, tree laden trails, flower gardens, watery sunsets, yacht clubs and other nautical spots, urban or brick backgrounds, and more. If you prefer your own special spot, that's great too.

 

Great Portraits start with Being Comfortable

Owner and primary photographer, John Munson, strives to capture both personality and appearance during every portrait session. In his eyes, the value of the photo rises immensely when you can see the true spirit of the person. John is keenly aware of peoples' comfort level, and whether he engages in conversation, plays games or simply uses the right body language, John is able make every portrait customer feel comfortable. This often results in expressive candids and other shots that many other photographers can not get.      

Portrait Process

Step 1 - Consultation (If you have any questions regarding clothes, make-up, location, lighting, etc., please email or call John and he would be happy to advise you.)

Step 2 - Schedule Portrait Session (The first step and often the hardest is scheduling the portrait session, especially when there are many people involved. To accommodate peoples' busy lives, John offers portraits on weekdays as well as Saturdays. Sundays are also available as a last resort. To book a portrait session, a 33% non-refundable deposit is required (cash, check or CC).  In the event, you need to reschedule or cancel, please give 24 hour notice. )

Step 3 - Portrait Session and Payment (After the portrait session, full payment is required.  If it is an in-studio shoot and time permits, you can view the un-edited photos within a few minutes after the shoot. If not, John will email you a link to view the edited photos within 3 to 5 days.) 

Step 4 - Share Photos (If you would like to share photos via Facebook, John will post them on your wall once you friend him.)

Step 5 - Select Photos (Once you see the photos, it is up to you to decide which ones you want printed and/or framed. You can also elect to get a CD with the digital images as well as a custom photo album.  The photos remain online (password protection optional) indefinitely but ordering prices go up after first 2 weeks.)
