For more than fifty years the art of Norman J. Gautreau of Revere, Massachusetts, has given pleasure to thousands. Prints of his paintings hang in numerous households and offices throughout the country, extending even to Italy and Hawaii. His paintings chronicling the history of Revere Beach have especially gained widespread popularity for their evocation of at time long past but remembered by many. At last, his collection of Revere beach paintings, is available in this single gallery.
Norman Gautreau's paintings of Historic Revere Beach stir vivid memories of youthful pleasures for anyone raised in this great city. His vision of a vibrant, sparkling beachfront continues to inspire our efforts to restore Revere Beach to its past grandeur.
-- Thomas G. Ambrosino, Former Mayor, Revere
I was a little girl and went on my very 1st roller coaster ride on Revere Beach, what a thrill it was and is something I will always remember. Oh, and the food is what keeps me coming back!!
Is there a print available of the painting titled "Paul's Barbershop"?

I live in Philadelphia but spent childhood summers vacationing on Revere Beach with family since my mother grew up in Boston. Years ago, my aunt and I went to Norman Gautreau's house in Chelsea, bought his prints of Revere Beach and he signed them for us in pencil. I have 5 of them proudly hanging in my house in Philadelphia and love them. He was a great artist and his painting of Revere Beach take me back to days of my happy childhood!
